Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of an integrated treatment approach?
At Kickstart Kids Therapy, many children see both an occupational therapist and a speech pathologist for therapy as difficulty with sensory processing can impact a range of skills.
With the occupational therapist and speech pathologist working closely together, communication between therapists is maximised. Therapists are able to support each other’s interventions and share strategies for developing skills or managing behaviour. Goals can be developed collaboratively with parents.

What rebates are available for services?
Your child may be eligible to access Medicare programs, including the Enhanced Primary Care Plan, Better Access to Mental Health and Helping Children with Autism programs. You can find out more about these programs through the Medicare website.

If you have private health cover, we are unable to process rebates at the clinic. But don’t worry — we’ll provide you with a detailed invoice so you can easily make a claim with your health fund at your convenience.

Are you approved to provide NDIS Services?
Yes, we are approved to provide services to eligible children under this government scheme.
