You can see our physiotherapist for help if:

  • Your child is delayed in achieving gross motor milestones e.g. not sitting by 9months, not attempting to stand by 12 months, not walking by 18 months.

  • You notice problems with muscle tone, e.g. your baby feels overly ‘stiff’ or ‘floppy’ when carrying her.

  • Your baby develops a flat spot on their head or has a tight or stiff neck (preference for turning to one side).

  • Your baby is unsettled and unable to play on her tummy by 4 months age.

  • Your child is walking differently, in-toeing, out-toeing, walking on toes, or tripping and falling a lot.
